Maybe so. But still not worth $10,000 in damages to your car. But
I'll do what I can, at least locally, to reduce the number of
deer--Wisconsin gun season starts at sunrise on Nov. 23, and antlerless
permits are $2 each, in unlimited numbers, in our hunting zone. I'll buy
15. There are way too many deer in NW Wisconsin, and our hunting mantra is
"forget the damn antlers--go for the trophy uterus." Highest number of
those pesky, but tasty, pine-tree-eating vermin I've killed in a season is
six. If I can kill 15, I'll buy more tags. Be prepared for a donation of
venison, Ken--I hope running a sharp knife through some venison sausage
will be of some solace.
