It is amazing just how safe those rides really are. After years of
mishaps, the industry had to take safety seriously and they delivered.
Granted, there are just a hair too many cotter pins for my tastes, but
they are better regulated and inspected than the typical permanent
amusement park. Again, because of past travesties.
I would still prefer to watch from outside the puke zone, though. My
preferred form of thrill ride is going up a trail in the Jeep.
