Thanks for looking and commenting Chris X2, Bob and Jim. Yes, a small
blade or grass or some such did
result in some loss of contrast on the s-b fritillary despite Howard
holding back some of it skillfully w/o spooking the critter.
I edited the images in a dim room, and did save the psd files so
perhaps I should lighten the background layer a bit more with the
Baltimore shot.
I should make it a habit of revisiting images with fresh eyes before
posting.
