I am told that the gear  admiration pose is far from rare.  She has 
some images somewhere. I have a bunch of keepers using the 24/2.8.
Gear does make it into our shots though.   Here was the first sighting 
in the wild of the Mirex Tilt-Shift adapter for OM on duty in the
Peloponnese.
