Interesting. Once I got through all the pages of mind-bending theory
and algebra... it looks a lot like the magnetic loop antennas I've been
researching.
The one I've found is based on a sprial of copper sheeting wrapped
around a PVC frame to shorten the actual length of the loop. However, it
looks like no matter what I'm going to have to invest in a fairly
expensive vacuum-variable cap and fabricate some sort of motor drive and
limit-sensing mechanism.
I really miss the days of just climbing up the tower and hanging wires...
Powerball. Powerball buys me 20 acres far enough away from the airport
to have a decent tower....
