You have to speak for your own preferences and (probably) vision.  The 
Canon autofocus is much faster and much more accurate than me doing 
manual focus using the 5D viewfinder... even using fast lenses with the 
special MF EF-s focusing screen.  The focus confirmation chip works for 
MF lenses but using it is slow.

Now then, if the camera was on a tripod and I had a 5D II or III or 7D 
with live view it might be a different thing.  But I don't.  And OM 
bodies are a non-starter for me except for the OM-4 with built-in 
diopter adjustment.  Trouble is I don't have any love of film.  Too much 
trouble and I don't see any magic color there as you seem to do.
