Hmm. You bring up a good point. I could just take the 2x6" hunk of
douglas fir and screw/glue it to the outer wall's sheet rock. By
dispersing the weight over the entire length of the board, I should
have no worries about ripping off the wall. And since it's the outer
wall it would be stable. I'll need to just do some form of portable
table for the work surface.

Uh oh, maybe not. I might be back on the interior wall again. I wanted
to utilize my 6-footer workbench because that's where my other
enlarger is at along with the timer... But then again, I've been
contemplating the advantage of having three enlargers. I've got two
6x6 Omegas, One condensor and the other is the Chromega. I was going
to direct mount those to my workbench right next to each other with
just enough gap to be able to operate them without running into the
other one. This way they are so close that I don't have to eat up an
entire workbench for both of them. I wouldn't be running two separate
rolls simultaneously anyway.

I'll run some tests to see how much different the big beast operates
compared to the 6x6.
