Hmmm. Not yet. I was sent several examples. I investigated one of them
and found that the photographer was contacted prior. Already, I'm
questioning the voracity of the claims of existing questionable image
use. I'd take the time to look at the others, but am already losing
interest. However, there is one which has an odor about it that I want
to sniff out. The one where the photographer was contacted falls into
the category of "good business practice" where even though the
existing rights allow Instagram to do whatever it wanted to do, the
people involved were nice enough to do the respectful thing. (Also,
there was an issue about model release...)

But the fact is, the Instagram users were rightfully up in arms over
the language change because whether or not the company ever intended
to sell the works without credit/payment is irrelevant because the
contract change gave them 100% ability to do so. If something CAN be
exploited, it's just a matter of time before it IS exploited.
