Agreed on all counts. I was really doing a double-take on the DR tests
that DeepPee did. If that doesn't get our attention, nothing will.

I won't be buying it sight unseen. I have to know that the viewfinder
and handling fit me. If they don't, then that simplifies things a
little bit.

My wife reminded me again that one advantage to the big honkin cameras
with massive lenses and battery grips is the "calling card" aspect to
it. I almost always get a second job when I shoot an event because the
size of the camera triggered the "oh, btw, I need a portrait done"
contacts. I don't get those as much when I'm using a small camera.
