Can't talk about that.

Spent an entire week there, with a few layover days. I took advantage of
the opportunity and walked along the sea break (called the Dorlin) out to
Davaar Island, where I walked along the shore and found the cave that has the
painting of the crucifixton (very interesting history), seen here in this
commercial website:

Then visited the lighthouse. An interesting place, the light beacon being
built in the 19th century. The light itself is a simple single mantle gas
light, exactly like a Coleman lantern but much larger. There are three very
large mirrors that rotate, and the bearing for them is a shallow pool of
mercury. The drive is a clockwork motor with a 20-stone weight. The watchman
has to wind it up every hour or so.
The launch to travel to Cambeltown is also from the 19th century, with a
German diesel engine. Got to ride it back to town as the tide was too high to
safely walk back along the Dorlin and the harbormaster had just brought out the
mail and groceries.
