Sprint has lots of add on's. For instance even if you have a data included
plan they charge an extra $10 month to use an Android smart phone. For a
simple phone your 75MB might be enough but a typical data limit is
probably 2G. It wouldn't hurt to call Verizon and tell them you are
surprised and disappointed by the extra $10 per month. They might try to
sweeten the deal.

Gmail is pretty effective at filtering spam. I've converted my
jkeller.comto gmail even though there is no financial advantage.
