If anyone is wondering, Jim's Tiny Insect looks like a fungus gnat 
(Mycetophilidae or Sciaridae) or a gall midge (Cecidomyiidae).  In any 
case, it won't bite--it looks like it's imbibing that droplet of dew on 
the petal.
