Nick,

May I make a recommendation  based on my own experience? Before you jump 
into the G2 system, try one, if possible over several rolls of film, to see 
if you are comfortable with the autofocus system. I found it mind numbing 
and unreliable.

On the other hand, the lenses were the best I've ever owned!
