Hmmm...now I feel almost guilty about the 50/3.5 macro I got as a body cap
on a $50 OM-1.  It sees almost exclusive use as "product photography"
lens (example: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pooroldpunch/5267935096/).  It
is an incredibly sharp lens that gives a perfectly flat field.  In its
previous life, it was used on said OM-1 on a copy stand (I think for making
copies of documents).  Maybe it deserves to get out once in a while--it
probably also deserves to have its rubber focusing ring replaced!

That understates the situation.  The 50mm f3.5 was the first lens I  bought
when I started building a system.  It was purchased before I got the  body.
