Indeed! And the author tells you:
"If the Histogram doesn’t start at 0, it is often a sure sign of lens flair.
Drag the Shadow Slider to the darkest part of the image"
Apart from the style crime of putting "often" with "sure sign", I'm sure that
it means nothing of the sort.
