FWIW the term 'wormdrive' has come to refer to all the saws that aren't direct
drive aka 'sidewinders'. Many of these don't use a wormdrive and hence are much
lighter than the old Skill 77's, More like an angle grinder with a blade. No
less reliable I might add.
