But, if you have your prints commercially processed by other than extreme
specialists they are expected to be in sRGB. If they aren't they will be
converted. Better you do the conversion yourself.

My friend that owns a lab here has one of the big Durst printers, a Sigma, I
think. When he was shopping for one, I asked about color space, and the
answer was always srgb. I just got a 20x30 print from an M9 file yesterday,
and he did the conversion from 16 bit prophoto to srgb and it looks fine. I
had some 30x40's made from some D3 files, some would say too big, but they
looked incredible.

If you step outside of sRGB better plan to do your own printing.
Generally, inkjets print other color spaces. If I had wanted my print on
something other than metallic paper, I could have had him use his wide
carriage Epson and stayed in prophoto space.

That makes aboslutelt no sense.

They have?
I haven't been following it well, but I

I think they have stepped on their d**ks lately as lots are reporting color
space problems in new OS versions. My experience with Apple has not been
good, just with a wireless router.

 That's the ticket!
