I've been wandering some more, and it looks like the Celestron Digital
Microscope Imager would turn my ancient 40-100-400x into a digital scope
for under $50. Not sure I need such a thing, but it sounds cool. :-D
I've also started looking for something to connect a DSLR to the
microscope. The range of price and complexity of adapters is breathtaking.
