I once managed to throw a rock at my own head. That bled for quite
some hours (probably should have had a small stitch). Then there was
the time before that a school girlfriend threw a rock at me as I was
running off with my winnings from a game of marbles (no, not a
ephemism). That head wound bled much worse, horror movie style, but
for a shorter length of time.
If I recall correctly, they both were (for a young lad) excellent fun
for scaring the hell out of your mother. It makes me wonder if the one
I hit myself with was no accident. :)
