Maybe I took too literally the statement of Razzle who made my Obsession 
617, when he advised that it would not need a centre filter with the 
Rodenstock lens.

If I set my standards higher it seems obvious I will need a centre filter; but 
it 
will have to wait for a bit.

I also need to sort out which film and scanning software will give the 
cleanest colours. So far I've been using the Silverfast software that comes 
with the Epson.
