I've used one of those cheap Chinese wireless triggers with Canons in  
the studio - the type where the receiver plugs into the cable release  
socket. Works well and you don't have to be in front. They are  
available for those Olys that have a cable socket. I assume that they  
are about as reliable as any of these Chinese transmitter devices and  
they are more convenient than a cable or lineof sight IR release..
