I'm running a DX4400 and 1290 on SL with no snags. Admittedly it's using the
Mac generic driver, GutenPrint (GIMP?), but the results are excellent and the
system virtually transparent. In short, the generic MacOS drivers are doing a
better job than the Epson software ever did.
