Isn't that just overexposure? Is that the same as flare? Dunno, just 
askin'...

That's a pretty wide range of brightness. ND grads are no use when there 
are lights all over the place.

Nearest corner detail is the upper left building edge, which is pretty 
sharp.

Point taken about the format difference, though. The advantage of the 
bigger formats is less enlargement required for a given size. You get 
away with less than stellar lenses on big film.
