Chris, 'apostrophic' not 'apostrophical' please.  

I had always understood the combination of greek and latin adjectival
endings to be inelegant and to be deprecated, despite numerous 'historical'
precedents.  But please don't get hysterical (or heretical) about it.

But perhaps you were being ironical?
