Andrew,
I take the new Summicron 35 ASPH on film I think it is good too. Some
comments said its contrast is a bit higher than pre-ASPH (7 elements)
version, so the result on B&W is not as good as pre-ASPH but overall I think
35 ASPH is a pretty good lens. Especially its 3D effect, the best one I have
seen.
