I took the cable car ride indeed, but I beliebe it was called "hell's
gate" at the time. Impressive masses of water coming through the canyon.
We camped about 5 miles up the road in the direction of Cargary. I
still have memories of the Canada trip being the best vacation yet ;-)
We were there for 6 weeks, had an RV vor the whole month of June, drove
7230 km, burning over 2100 litres of premium gasoline in the 5.7 liter
engine, ouch! My mother in law came with us because we visited our
uncle. He also doubled as guide on Vancouver island in his car and
during the trip in the RV to Winipeg and back. We celebrated the first
birthday of our daughtr in Jasper. Good memories.
