There are two kinds, the first is a sort of matte coating or slightly 
sandblasted surface. This has been used for years and years. More recent, 
and not surprisingly really really expensive, is regular glass coated with 
the same AR stuff that is applied to glasses.

New newer, more costly version shouldn't be a problem for viewing, but the 
old stuff, where the matte surface faces the viewer, sucks.
