10 hours, locked in a transit lounge because there was a fault on the
plane.
Cathay Pacific providing minimal information.
Armed guards with sub-machine guns who considered us all to be
probable Commies.
Just me, my wife - and around 150 Japanese salarymen, doing a Lord of
the Flies routine.
When they finally fed us, they escorted us under armed guard to a
terminal canteen and provided boiled ham steak, mash and peas. Vile.
I still have nightmares. My wife prefers not to travel.
