My grandpa used to have a lot of cats, and the deer sometimes stole the cat
food. Once a deer was eating cat food when one of the cats was standing
there with its back arched, hair puffed up, hissing and growling. The deer
wasn't impressed. I agree that a dog or two would probably work well though.
