Yes, it definitely undulates up and down.  So does Nebraska... somewhat. 
  In Iowa one can find trees where there is no corn or soybeans.  Not so 
much Nebraska.  If it doesn't have corn or soybeans it's dry grass 
and/or sand (in the sand hills region) or widely dispersed cows.
