Yes, I will try the EG-S later but Maxwell treatment is just too expensive 
and I'm also worry about the focusing accuracy. Will continue to search for 
suitable M*nolta old FS as I remember the type 70 is a bit longer than the 
type 7 (I used for OM bodies) which is too short for the 5D II.

Yes, the wide open exposure accuracy is ok.

As already mentioned by others program shift only works with AF lenses. At 
program mode, the exposure is very inaccurate with MF lenses. Just checked 
the 24/2 wide open, 'A' mode gives 1/100s (accurate exposure) and 'P' model 
gives 1/40s.
