Actually, I thought the fuel consumption was pretty good for a 275 
horsepower 4.6 liter engine running everywhere from twisting mountain 
roads at near 11,000 feet elevation to Dallas and New Orleans city 
traffic.  But you're right.  A fuel sipper it's not.  It was bought 
specifically in anticipation of this trip and is only used for highway 
travel.  The other car gets the day-to-day, around town driving.
