I belive it is from D200 as mentioned in the tags, it seems common for N*kon
cameras. I have seen the results and tried my friend's D70, its auto WB
was tented to be cool in some cases.

LCD contrast ratio and display card has nothing to do with color accuracy, a
monitor calibrator is useful if you need good control of color.

As Chuck mentioned precise color usually not required but for a series
photos it is better to have a good color consistance as you just don't want
some of them to be "outstanding".
