But mono lights are much more convenient and flexible if you need 
portable lights.  They can be independently placed anywhere without 
regard to having to be within reach of a central power supply or having 
to worry about how you route the power cables.

But the heads on some brands can be very heavy.  That's the reason I own 
Alien Bees.  Bees heads are very light.  Some weigh even less than other
