I just checked, Mike, and 180/2.8, 300/4.5, and Zuiko 1.4x are all no
problem with the Russian chip, they do not come close to the plane of the
chip so would not be a problem with the Chinese chip either.
I don't see why you think the 135/4.5 would not work, because the 65-116
tube (which you would need anyway) is no problem, nor are the bellows (which
would be an alternative to the bellows).
If the Chinese chip is fixed the same way as the Russian chip is suggested,
then yes, it is with cyanoacrylic adhesive. It *can* be "cracked" off the
mount by application of pressure along the lens axis (and I notice that the
Chinese seller explicitly advises against that!) but I do not think that it
would represent a problem in day to day use. On the contrary, it helps with
installation, since you can correct for initial misalignment (guess how I
know that).

I should have been more specific. I'd like to use longer focal lengths where
the 4/3 crop is really an advantage. 85~250, 180/2.8, 300/4.5, and Tamron
300/2.8 perhaps with a 1.4x. The chip appears to be super-glued onto the
adapter and looks mighty fragile. A dedicated one for each lens is too rich
for me. Another lens where IS and focus confirm would be nice is the 135/4.5
macro but can't see that working. I did try out the
300/4.5 handheld with the new firmware and was rather pleased with the
result. Maybe well braced it would do as a last resort.
