If it is a wide grip, roll up each edge and put down a small bead of 
rubber cement 1/4" to 1/2" in from the edge.  If necessary, rubber band 
in place till glue sets. If grip is stretched out, rubber banding won't 
work. It may not fit properly without cutting it, taking out a small 
slice then doing a more thorough gluing job.  Replacement is recommended 
over cutting, but it is unlikely new is available.
