Yeah compliments are awesome to receive. Thanks for the compliment on my
work. I usually do print small, although I have done a few 11x14 prints that
were for an exhibit I was in a few years ago at an art museum in my hometown
in Indiana. They wanted some bigger prints because the exhibit was a charity
sale to raise money for the museum and they felt that large prints of some
of my landscapes would sell well. They sold ok, but I had used smaller
prints in this same exhibit in years past and the small ones sold better!
The big ones looked good from a technical standpoint; all had been shot on
tmax 100 in 645 format, so there was no grain and plenty of detail in the
big prints. But I feel that my work is intimate and often to much of a self
portrait to look 'right' big.
