I have no idea what your streaks look like but intermittent, random, 
colored streaks are characteristic of the problems affecting Sony 
sensors in certain digital cameras and the cause of a Sony recall.  I 
know because my A1 was so effected.  The effects I saw didn't look like 
anything I'd previously seen about the problem but whatever was in the 
image (and it does get recorded on the image) was something the camera 
definitely made up on its own on the spot.  My dining room doesn't 
normally have a couple of weak pink streaks running diagonally across 
the middle of the room of a horseshoe shaped green mist floating about.

I don't think the Sony recall affected other than point and shoot 
cameras but I'm pretty sure Nikon uses Sony sensors.

See if the streaks are in the images as seen on the computer.
