Yep. HIE is real IR film - and is subject to all of the handling ...
problems. For my taste, it is too grainy and subject to blown highlights.
My favorite was/is Konica 750 - easy to handle and develop - finer grain and
easier to print from - in my opinion. I have since purchased some Macophot
850 that I've not had a chance to use ... Ilford's SFX is really not a
straight IR film, but an enhanced "red" film ...
