I have to confess I haven't looked at the Pentax bunch, but I have
seen a lot of positive references to the 10D. And you're right. It is
a competitor of the 510. The reason I haven't kept up with the K10D
is I have a good friend who has one, and who is a long-time Pentax
buff. He traded in his 6x7 for the K10D when he decided to go
digital, and he's very happy with the camera. He's been pushing me
toward the 510 because of similarities, and my (wavering) allegiance
to the Olympus system.
