Sandy,
An interesting question, since the 520 has proved a little elusive. We
anticipate that the panasonic sensor will be rather noisy, compared to the
competition, so we would want the Ex to be less noisy, perhaps compairing to
the nikon and Canon offferings. We will most certainly expect the same level
of dust and water sealing, as that is one of the few areas where the E1
really stood out. Kodak sensors had had a reputation for good color, and the
E1 was proof of that, so we will want the new version to equal or better the
E1 there.
Everyone would also hope that the Ex would have a less tunnel-like VF than
what we have seen from the three digit cameras so far.
But of course, without something to evaluate, who can say?
