Normal actuation would be mirror up, shutter fires and allows mirror back
down. Indication is that the shutter never fired.
Mirror did go up
If not why not.
I don't know.
If it did and the mirror is still up that's a different problem.
New batteries, I get nothing with the battery check.
I tried the move the mirror back down with my finger (MD still attached),
that seemed to complete the cycle (Fire the shutter) however the mirror is
still in the up position and the battery check still doesn't work. The
aperture
remains closed down.
Certainly their are more Sherlocks alive and well on Saturday who might have
an opinion. I can't imagine a dearth of opinions from this group. <{8^)
