I have only seen one version of the hood for the Tamron 17mm myself. The
hood that Skip lent me was identical to the one I had an used with my own
internal filter version lens. Though I will note that I purchased my lens
and the hood independent of each other.

Apparently I have a newer hood (from a list member) that I am using on an
older lens, with the color correction set of filters built in.
