The DOF is much less than that. All it takes is a look through the
viewfinder to see that. My quick check for an 8x10 print shows TOTAL DOF
of less than 1.4 m, or +/- .65 m. As a practical matter for the
intended use, cropping/enlargement will generally be considerably
greater than if printing the FF at 8x10 and the useful DOF for a first
class image no more than a few inches.
