Well, Aperture doesn't have a method of removing blemishes from an
image. It will do pretty well everything else, although the noise
removal doesn't seem to be very effective. I don't do much noise
removal, but it would be nice to be able to use something if I take a
shot that I really want but which is marred by noise.
I would use GIMP except that it will work only in 8-bit.
