Actually the sensitivity to IR is not all that isolated. I heard one
of the Canons had it, I forget which one, and the first Nikon D2H
had it and a lot of people kept a hot mirror filter on theirs. It is
just that with others' experience you would think that Leica/Kodak
would have not made the same mistake.
