It is possible to exceed the print quality of Miller's, but I
have to ask myself "at what cost?" This isn't only in terms of
monetary outlay, but also in time and consistancy. As I look at
the IPF5000 I can probably improve things all the way around,
but I know without a doubt that it will come with the baggage of
calibration issues, scaling, trimming, mounting, etc., etc. But
with the way the price of the printer is dropping, it might not
be unreasonable for me to take the plunge.
