At this moment Cai our little one is undergoing surgery, The surgery is
planned but he also going to have an extra procedure done while he is under.
On Thursday last week they did a hearing test (we always suspected he
could hear a little but not sure how well) which showed that he could
hear but his ear drums were not moving. the reason they think is because
the fluid is trapped behind the ears so they need to put in a grommet on
each side which will allow the fluid to drain. Now we just need to hope
they see some movement in his vocal chords and we are laughing - well
maybe we hear Cai laughing one day. They also want to try him with a
speaking valve
