But a 300d kit outperforming the OM2 in picture quality?
No way :)
A camera's relative success depends on how is it used, from whom and
for what ends.
I feel that you found a camera that better covers your current
photographic needs and that's great.
Otherwise, my OM-2n, for example, outperformed in the recent Lake
district trip all the 300D, 350D, D50 and D70s which were there..
Didn't burn highlights, produced much better colours and moods, as
well as the final b&w prints that came out of it were an unsurpassable
dream for the digis, (not to mention that one D died from the rain)...
Ah.. but the question someone might say is not about the camera, but
who used the camera and for what ends, and what pictures and ideas had
in his/her mind...
