The Elan IIE/50E didn't have a dedicated DoF Preview button,
but an additional feature of the ECF was that, after focussing,
you could look up to a little square/diamond in the top left
(if I recall correctly) of the viewfinder and that would do
DoF Preview for you. I thought that was pretty nifty.
I really should shoot some film on it, since I've accumulated
a couple more half-decent EF lenses since I got the 10D, but
it's too tempting, for film, to take the OM1 instead.
